Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

The short version

Wordhoarders is a service for saving words that matter to you. Use it honestly, do not post content that harms others, and we will keep it running for you. If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid us, which right now is nothing.

Acceptance of terms

By using Wordhoarders (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Using the service

You may use Wordhoarders to save words and memories for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • ·Post content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or harassing
  • ·Post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • ·Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • ·Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • ·Use automated tools to scrape or mass-extract content
  • ·Impersonate any person or entity

Your content

You own the words and memories you save. By making content public, you grant Wordhoarders a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Service and in promotional material (for example, sharing a beautiful entry on social media to illustrate what the product does). We will not sell your content or use it in ways that misrepresent you.

You are responsible for the content you post. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

Anonymous contributions

Visitors may leave memories on public word pages without creating an account. These contributions are public and associated only with the word, not with any personal identity. By submitting an anonymous memory, you grant Wordhoarders the same licence described above.

Account and access

Access to your account is via magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. If you believe your Wordhoarders account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@wordhoarders.com.

Free tier and future pricing

Wordhoarders is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, existing users will be given reasonable notice and the option to continue on a free tier or upgrade. We will not charge you without your explicit consent.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where possible, we will give advance notice of significant changes.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wordhoarders is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which may be zero).

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@wordhoarders.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your private data will be deleted and any public content may be retained at our discretion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
